Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech - Ouarzazate - Boumalne Dades
After Breakfast, our qualified driver will pick you up from your accomodation in Marrakech around 8h00. Destination for today is the valley of Dades at the South East of Morocco. Drive across the high Atlas Mountains with magnificent views of the valleys and enchanting Berber villages. Include few stops along the way to strech the legs and have some coffee. Continue on the high road via the Tizi n Tichka pass (2260m) to reach Ait Ben Haddou village.
After lunch break. take time to visit Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou: A good example of a village in the South of Morocco, and a place which attracts many visitors to learn about life in this village and also it is home to many film production. Among the movies that are made we find the “the Jewel of the nile” and the Gladiator”.
Later on transfer via Ouarzazate and the town of Skoura to the valley of Dades with a break at Kalaa Mgouna, a village which is best known for roses production.
Enjoy the terrific landscapes of the Dades valley with its mad houses and green valley. Arrive to the hotel and check in. Overnight at the valley of Dades.
Day 2: Dades - Merzouga
After breakfast, We follow the Dades Valley and we join the main way in Boumalne. We drive to Todra Gorges, a canyon which stands in 300m altitude and along which the Todghra River flows.
Take a break to enjoy the fresh weather of the Todra gorges and have light hike along the river. After some time, you’ll continue your expedition.
Transfer to Erfoud with a break for lunch in Tinjdad or Touroug towns. A possible visit can be included to see the fossil preparation at Erfoud, otherwise you’ll continue the journey to Merzouga.
At the nearest point of the sand dunes, you’ll exchange the car with friendly camels. Take a camel trek at Merzouga sand dunes and arrive at the camp around sunset.
Take free time for sunset pictures, have time at the camp site including dinner. Finish the stay with a Berber party around fireplace and a potentiel session at star gazing! good night!

Day 3: Merzouga - Midelt – Fes :
This morning you wake up for sunrise lovely pictures, and have breakfast at the camp
You’ll either take a camel trek back to the town or join the jeep transfer from the camp to Merzouga.
Start the journey, again with your driver taking you along the valley of Ziz and passing the city of Errachidia.
Continue across the occidental high Atlas Mountains to arrive to Midelt where you’ll have a break for lunch.
In the afternoon, you’ll be transfered via the cedar forest of Ifrane and pass Imouzzer to reach Fes around 6PM. drop off at your hotel and end of the tour.
