Supporting Local Communities Through Authentic Experiences

When you travel with Magic Lamp Tours, we believe that visiting Morocco is about more than seeing beautiful landscapes. It is also an opportunity to meet local people, discover traditional crafts and contribute to the communities you visit.

No Pressure to Buy

During our Atlas Mountains excursions, we may visit a local Argan oil cooperative where you can learn how argan oil is traditionally produced and discover products made by local producers.

The visit is included in the experience, and there is no obligation to buy anything.

At Magic Lamp Tours, we do not pressure our travelers to purchase products. You are welcome to visit, ask questions, learn about the cooperative and continue your journey without buying anything.

If you do find something you genuinely like, however, purchasing directly from the cooperative can be a simple way to support local producers and their families.

Here, you can learn about traditional Berber weaving, the time and skill involved in making handmade rugs, and the stories and techniques passed down through generations.

Again, buying is entirely optional.

When travelers choose to purchase a locally made rug or another traditional handicraft, their purchase can help provide income to the artisans and communities who keep these traditions alive.

Travel With Respect

We want these visits to be genuine cultural experiences rather than compulsory shopping stops. Our aim is to give you the opportunity to meet local people, learn about their work and support them if you genuinely wish to do so.

For us, responsible tourism means creating a positive experience for both our travelers and the local communities we visit.
