The 9 days Morocco itinerary takes you through a diverse range of landscapes and cultural experiences. Begin in Casablanca airport, you move to Marrakech where you’ll explore the city’s monuments, gardens and traditional souks. From there, you’ll travel to the Atlas Mountains, where you’ll visit Berber villages and drive to less frequented tracks. Next, you’ll head to the Sahara Desert, where you’ll spend a night under the stars and enjoy a camel ride. Continue to Fez, where you’ll explore the ancient medina and visit the Karaouiyine University, one of the oldest in the world. Stop in Meknes, then head to Casablanca for your departure. Along the way, enjoy local cuisine, interact with friendly people of Morocco.

Itinerary
Day 1 : Casablanca - Marrakech
Meet in Casablaca Mohamed V airport upon your arrival and transfer to Marrakech. This takes around 3 hours’ drive.
Arrive to Marrakech and check into the hotel. Free and easy time to roam at your own pace and see around your hotel. Overnight at Marrakech hotel.
Day 2 : Marrakech guided tour
Today will be dedicated to explore Marrakech. Historical visit of Marrakech will include the exterior of the Koutoubia Mosque (the twin tower of Giralda in Seville, Spain), and the Saadian tombs which demonstrate the Moorish architecture with its perfection. Walk in the beautiful Kasbah quarter and Jewish area called the Mellah. Stop by and visit the Bahia palace and further Ben Youssef koranic school.
Walk in the colorful souks of Marrakech for a while and then take lunch break. In the afternoon, you may wish to visit Majorelle gardens and drive through the new district of Marrakech, Gueliz. Alternatively visit the historical secret gardens, or take rest time at the hotel.
Evening drums will draw you to the Djemaa El Fna (main city square). It’s a festival atmosphere, with snake charmers, Berber and Gnoua musicians, and storytellers illuminated by lamplight and wreathed in smoke. Food stalls on the square sell fresh salads, soups, fried fish and chips, chicken and beef kebabs and even boiled snails or sheep’s head. Finish it off with a glass of sweet cinnamon tea.
Day 3 : Marrakech - Ouarzazat - Kelaa M’gouna - Valley of Dades
After Breakfast, the driver picks you up from your Riad/ hotel around 8h00. Depart to the valley of Dades across the high Atlas Mountains with magnificent views of deep valleys and enchanted Berber villages. Drive on the high peaks and enjoy the Tizi N Tichka pass with its peak of 2260m.
Further on, arrive to Ksar Ait Benhaddou and take a break for lunch. Later on, take time to visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah which is the most attractive Kasbah in Morocco where more than twenty movies have been filmed like the “the Jewel of the Nile” and the Gladiator”.
We continue the journey via Ouarzazate passing via the town of Skoura and the beautiful valley of Dades.
Enjoy panoramic views of the valley of Dades with some stops for photos. Arrive to the hotel and overnight.
Day 4 : Dades valley - Tafraoute Sidi Ali or Ramlia
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer via Boumalne to Tinghir. Stop to walk in the canyon of Todra valley. Todra River flows between this geological fault to irrigate the palm groves. Continuation to Alnif where after few miles we join the off road to Ramlia. Enjoy driving on off road meeting nomad people, crossing dried rivers and listening the desert Sahara stories. See Nomads around Lmaider dry basin and Cross Gorges El Mharech to arrive to your hotel.
Reach one of the isolated villages along the Borders, and spend the night in a guesthouse in Tafraoute Sidi Ali or around.
Day 5 : Ramlia - Merzouga
Today’s itinerary reconcile with yesterday long driving. After breakfast, we visit the local village of Ramlia with its gardens. We meet Berber families with whom we share a mint tea pot. We drive to Merzouga which is only less than 3 hours driving, on the famous way of the Paris-Dakar racing. We enjoy amazing views of sands lying on volcano rocky Mountains. We join the way in Taouz from where we move to visit the village of black inhabitants: Khamila. Listen to felt-hearted Gnawa music played by the black descendants of Africa (Sudanis). We move on to Merzouga for relaxation and then start the camel trek expedition to the camp.
Enjoy and ocean of sand dunes from the top of a camel hump and even take pictures of sands while the sun draws colors on the dunes. Arrive to the camp after sunset. Enjoy a welcome tea, dinner and music around camp fire. Good night !
Day 6 :Merzouga - Midelt
This morning you wake up for sunrise lovely pictures, and then have breakfast.
Trek on camel’s back, or use a jeep transfer from the camp to the town of Merzouga.
Departure to Midelt. On the way, visit the legendary Souk of Rissani, if your day coincide with Sundays, Tuesdays or Thursdays.
Later on travel to Erfoud, known for different kind of fossils, with an option to visit a cooperative specializing in fossils preparations.
After lunch break, continue the journey along the beautiful valley of Ziz with its million palm trees.
Cross Errachidia and drive across the occidental high Atlas Mountains to reach your hotel in Midelt in the early evening. check in and overnight with dinner & breakfast.
Day 7 : Midelt - Meknes- Volubilis - Fes
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Meknes. On the way cross the Cedar forest of Azrou where the remnant of Barbary apes lives.
Transfer to Meknes: a 17 century capital of Morocco and known for its huge walls for protection and the Majestic Bab Mansour gate. Take a guided visit of Meknes Medina.
See Hri Swani, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, Bab Mansour and a walk in the medina and Lhdim main Square.
Transfer to Fes via the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Arrive to Fes and hotel check in.
Day 8 : Fez Sightseeing tour - Casablanca
Fez or Fes is the first Moroccan imperial city. It holds a wealth of attractions and described as the spiritual center of Morocco. The Karaouiyin University of Fez is considered among the oldest in the world. Hiring a local guide in Fez is essential to have a complete visit. You start the journey with a visit of royal palace and the ceramics and poetry looking at hand made artefacts. You move with your guide to explore the ancient University of Karaouiyin, the Tanneries and the vibrant alleys of the old quarter. You will admire the bustling streets of the Medina where merchants open their shops.
After lunch break, travel on the highway to Casablanca. Check into the hotel.
Day 9 : Casablanca hotel - Casablanca airport
After Breakfast and at the appropriate time we transfer you to the airport. Far well
